Summer Besties Tag 2018

Hello! I made a commitment with myself to post twice a week for all the month of July. Since it's summer I thought it was a good idea to make all the posts related summer. Hope you enjoy it!

1.Favorite Summer Lip Product.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

If you suffer from dry and cracked lips, YOU NEED THIS! I only use it at night, but you can certainly use it during the day. It's a jelly type product. It does not feel heavy or slippery. It helps a lot with my lips! But the most important thing you can do to have plump lips is to DRINK LOTS & LOTS OF WATER! $20 Buy here

MAC Matte Lipstick In Candy Yum Yum

When I think of summer, I think about bright lipsticks! Especially pinks. Candy Yum Yum! is that bright pink that looks good on everyone! The lasting power is good. 2.Favorite Summer Blush.

Too Faced Papa Don't Peach Blush

Ever since I started wearing makeup I have a thing for coral/shimmery blushes. I do not care if it is winter I will still use my coral blushes! I love this blush because it makes my skin look healthy. It's a really natural looking blush. $30 Buy here

Milani Baked Blush In Luminoso

Do I even need to introduce this blush? It's like a YouTube star. But it well deserves the hype it has. You want a blush you don't have to worry about you ending up looking like you got hit in the cheek, this is the one for you. 3. Favorite Summer Nail Polish.

KL Polish in Porter Miami. 

First of all, KL Polish is amazing! Great formula, great brush & beautiful colors. Second of all is toxic free, and they last a long times on the nails. $9.50 Buy here

4. Favorite Summer Liquid Face Product.

Ulta Beauty Full Coverage Liquid Concealer Waterproof

This is supposed to be a dupe for the TARTE Shape Tape concealer. It is a great concealer. It holds up pretty well in humid weather. I barely wear liquid foundation during summer, I go for a more subtle look and that's why I chose this concealer. Its affordable and good quality. $9 Buy here

5. Favorite Powder Face Product For Summer. 

Ulta Beauty Double Duty Wet & Dry Pressed Powder Foundation

We need a powder to set the concealer right? I really enjoy this powder. And mostly because I prefer powder foundations instead of liquid ones. This one has decent coverage. And what I like the most is that you can use it wet for more coverage. $14 Buy here

6. Favorite Summer Hair Product. 

Ion Brunette Solutions Color Protect Shine Mist.

I like this product because it works like a two in one. It protects your hair from the heat (hot tools or hot sunny days)and it also gives some shine. I have frizzy hair even tho it's straight I get frizz. This product helps with that. $8.99 Buy Here

7. Favorite Summer Eye Product.

L'oreal Waterproof Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

 Alamar Cosmetics Reina Del Caribe Eyeshadow Palette VOL. 1

Ahh, don't get me started with my Alamar palette. I really love this palette and the history behind it! Keep calm, I'm working on a review so soon you would read more about it :) I really like the colors and how versatile it is. $ 28 Buy here

8. Favorite Summer Self Tanner

Ride or Die Tag!

Holy Grail Products I Can't Live Without. 

Hello, Beauties! Have you ever thought "What if all my makeup disappeared? What would I repurchase?" Well, this is what this tag is about! The products I will repurchase if something happened to all of my makeup.

We will start in the order of what goes on the face first.

PRIMER

Without a doubt these two. They both perform beautifully on top of any moisturizer and they make my foundation look better.

The Cover Fx one helps with the longevity of my makeup and to treat any blemish I may have. The Smashbox one gives me a better canvas to apply my foundation so it gets rid of some texture and it blurs out my pores.

FOUNDATION

I do not wear foundation every day, I want so say I wear it 2 to 3 times per month, so I do not buy and collect a lot of foundations because I do not use them really often. When I bought this one after watching tons of reviews on YT I decided to get mine, I gotta say It is one of my favorites because it gives the coverage I need, it doesn't make my face look cakey or heavy and paired with a good primer it can last for a long time.

POWDERS 

Let's start with the MAC Studio Finish Powder Foundation like I told you already I don't use liquid foundation every day, I use a powder foundation, this one gives me the coverage I need, it helps control the oiliness on my face and it does not feel heavy for everyday use.

NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder, sadly this is discontinued, when I do a full face makeup look I bake my face and this powder really helps and do a really great job, it doesn't feel heavy.

CONCEALER

Because I do not wear foundation every day I use a concealer that gives me a good coverage, the Benefit Boi-ing concealer is the one I use the most, it covers my imperfections really good, is not heavy or cakey.

The Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in the shade neutralizer is the bomb for the under eyes. It has the perfect yellow undertone to conceal but a the same time cover my under eyes, is not a thick formula it just glides on so good I love it!

BRONZER

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

I know, I know maybe you are already tired of people raving about this bronzer but, let me tell you is amazing! like the name says it feels like butter and it just glides on the skin, it doesn't get patchy, it has the perfect tone to bronze but for us light skin girls it doesn't give us an orange look. Girl trust me, plus it smells like vacation ahh I LOVE IT!

BLUSH

Too Faced Papa Don't Peach Blush.

If you are a fan of NARS Orgasm blush, you are going to love this one, is a coral with a gold shine blush that gives the cheeks the most healthy glow, I used this one for two months straight without using another blush.

TARTE Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Exposed.

If you don't mess with blush a lot and you are looking for a blush that can go with any eye makeup or a natural blush, in general, this  is the one, is a pinky-mauve color that gives a settle color to the cheeks, I reach for this blush when I do my eye makeup more dramatic and I don't want my blush to be too much.

ELF Studio Blush in Tickled Pink.

This is a coral blush with a satin finish, it has some shimmer but it doesn't transfer to the skin if you are looking for a settle coral blush that gives your cheeks, well go check this one out is only $3 bucks, and it is amazing for the price point.

HIGHLIGHTER 

MAC Mineralize SkinFinish in Soft & Gentle.

If you read my blog often you already know about my love for MAC'S Soft and Gentle, with this highlighter I discovered the magic world of glow! I will never get tired of this highlighter.

BECCA Shimmering SKin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop.

Ahhh, this highlighter gives me life, is so perfect and it gives the most amazing glow to the skin!

EYES

Eyeshadow

TOO FACED Chocolate Bar Palette.

No need to talk much about this one, love it, has everything I need to do many many makeup looks, and it has all I ask in an eyeshadow palette, you NEED IT the end.

MASCARA

Covergirl LashBlast Mascara.

This was my first mascara back in the days when I was 16 and I started wearing makeup, this mascara holds my curl, ya girl has to curl her eyelashes every day because my lashes are straight, so this mascara helps with that, plus is waterproof so it won't anywhere.

Setting Spray/ Setting Powder.

You need both! that's all I can say. Plus the elf one is like $3 dollars it sets my under eyes so good my concealer never creases.

Highlighter Tag: Best Packaging? Best Highlighter? Least Used?

Hi, you guys! School is over which means I have more time to do one of my hobbies, write about makeup!

I have plenty of time to organize my time and post 2 entries to the blog per week. I am so excited because I have so many good things to talk about. 

But for now, I am doing the highlighter tag! I am crazy for highlighters right now haha!

Let's get started, shall we?

Questions:

1. Best Packaging?

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in Eclipse (Collab with Manny MUA) & NARS Banc De Sable Palette.

Both palettes have amazing packaging, they have a mirror, they are sturdy and they are simple yet pretty and outstanding. I love the engraving they both have. Jeffree's is sold out sorry.

2. Best Natural Highlight?

Essence Pure Nude Highlighter in Be My Highlight & Hard Candy Glow All The Way Baked Bronzer in Tiki.

If you are somehow scared of the glow, these babies are the ones for you, they give the most natural, dewy and juicy finish to the skin without the glitter.

3. Best "going out"/Intense Highlight?

Anastasia Beverly Hills in So Hollywood & theBalm Cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer.

I think Mary-Lou Manizer is at least in one of the categories on almost everyone's tag, this highlighter was one of the very first ones to make an impact on the highlight boom! Anastasia's So Hollywood is stunning! I mean every time I wear one of these two at least one person asks me about what highlight I am wearing. I choose any of them when I am going out I LOVE THEM!

4. Regret Purchasing?

None. I love all of my Highlighters.

5. Favorite Brand?

BECCA <3

Since the first time I touched a Becca highlighter, I knew I was in love, the formula of all Becca products is amazing!They are soft, non-powdery and very pigmented. I totally recommend them.

6. Most Used?

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle.

I'm not going to get tired of recommending this product, is such a good highlighter, you can build the intensity if you wet your brush before you apply it to your face. When I don't know what to use I always go for this one.

NARS Banc de Sable. It was $53 with taxes. Same as the first question. 

8. Least Expensive?

ELF Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Luminance

This Highlighter was literally $1 haha, I got it because it has good reviews, I honestly do not care about, brand or price as long as it works for me I am happy. 

Is not longer available.

9. Least Used? 

Colourpop's Highlighters.

They are really good highlighters do not get me wrong, but the consistency of it is what it prevents me from using it because is kinda tricky to work with it.
