My Bronzer Collection!

So at the beginning of 2017, I posted my Highlighter collection and suddenly I stopped updating the rest of my collection. Sadly I have decluttered many makeups since then but I will try my best to keep you updated on my makeup collection! Please let me know what you want to see next, blushes, etc.

On my collection posts, I rarely include swatches of the product, and I don't link all the products because some may not be available anymore. The purpose of this post is too give a brief explanation of the product and why I have it in my collection.

*Drugstore Bronzers* 

Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer.

This bronzer is so good! As it names says it is like butter! It glides on the skin and it blends like a dream, plus it smells like paradise!

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer 022 Sun Bronze. 

This was one of my first makeup purchase, back then this was "the" bronzer, and for me, it still has it lol! Is an amazing and inexpensive bronzer!

NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer Sunny.

Do I even have to introduce you to this bronzer? Well if you been living under a rock, this was "THE" bronzer back when I started doing my makeup. It has the perfect matte shade to give you that contoured/ sun-kissed cheeks! Man, I rocked this bronzer to high school every day!haha

e.l.f. Contouring and Blush Duo ST. Lucia. 

When I was in high school I didn't work so I did not have money to buy brands like NARS, so when I heard this was a dupe for that famous bronzer and blush duo from NARS I bought it!

e.l.f. Golden Bronzer. 

This was an impulse buy, but it works as a pretty bronzer to achieve sun-kissed cheeks.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzers.

First of all, they smell like chocolate! I love them. That is all I have to say!

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 03.

This is the type of bronzer that you would buy if you are into natural makeup, you like to rock the no makeup, makeup look. 

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun!

This is the type of bronzer you use in Summer when you are a pale ghost to give your cheeks that sun-kissed glow! Grab a fluffy brush and lightly dust this bronzer all over your face and bam! glowy bronzer skin!

NARS Laguna/ Orgasm Duo.

Everybody and their momma has heard of this duo once or twice. It's famous what can I say? 

Tarte Park Ave Princess Bronzer.

Well, this was one of my favorite bronzers of 2017, want to know more about it, wait for my 2017 Favorites post :)

Benefit Hoola Bronzer!

Yes, it has my name, no it is not PR! Man if Benefit knew who I am I would not be working at my job anymore haha! They personalize it for  $5, I am not sure if they still do it! That was the only reason why I got it! I mean how cool it is to have makeup with your name on it!

 

THE BALM BRONZERS!

I will talk about them all together! I only buy theBalm when it is half price on their website. They have awesome products! and their packaging is ADORABLE!

September & October Favorites

Staples from the past months.

Hello! You already know the drill, I talk about my favorites every two months. Let's get started with the favorites.

My birthday was back in October I am 22 now! Some of my favorites are birthday gifts.

RANDOM FAVS

I may be too old for stuffed animals, but this little guy is too cute! If you already saw Despicable Me 3 you already know the name of this pretty Unicorn, his name is FLUFFY. Since the first movie came out I wanted a Fluffy, but I didn't find one, my sister gave me this little one of my birthday and I love it!

SKINCARE FAVES

The Body Shop Seaweed Oil Control Lotion. 

This is an awesome lotion for people with oily skin. The Body Shop uses more natural ingredients in their products. They are cruelty-free. This lotion feels so light on my face, it doesn't break me out and it absorbs really fast.

BODY/FRAGRANCE

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Eau de Toilette. 

I am a huge fan of fruity, fresh and floral scents. I really really like this scent! Is fresh and fruity. Is not a perfume is a body splash.

Crystal Essence Mineral Deodorant.

Many studies have found that antiperspirants, main ingredient which is aluminum may cause breast cancer. I have been using this deodorant, and I gotta say I like it! I am trying to get away from deodorants that contain aluminum, and this brand is a good one.

HAIR

CHI Straight Guard

My hair was getting long, and on my birthday at my local Ulta where cutting hair for $10 dollars and all the proceeds will go to BCRF. So I cut my hair short, and now that is short is easier to style.  I normally take a shower and I leave it to air dry, I put a tiny amount of the product and it makes my hair softer and it stops from being all frizzy.

KL Polish in Mami Martha

All profits from Mami Martha will be donated to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Mami Martha is a pink nail polish in tribute to Kathleen's Grandma who fought breast cancer.

Urban Decay Naked 3 palette.

My sister and my dad bought me this palette for my birthday! haha, they know me well. I wanted this palette for so long, but I always hesitate to buy it because pink tones are not my favorites. I got to say I fell in love with it!

Ittse Makeup The Lotus Collection Collab with CoffeeBreakWithDani.

This is a collab with my favorite Youtuber CoffeeBreakWithDani!

The colors from the quad are the four on the bottom. These are not regular shadows and they have to be applied differently. I foil them and they look stunning in the eyes!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.

Okay, let me just tell you something, the hype behind this concealer is true, and you need to go get it asap. It is creamy and it blends beautifully, it melts into the skin.

Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow base.

This shadow base is so inexpensive. I apply it all over my lids and since it has a tint to it, it helps camouflage all the redness on my eyelids plus it helps my eyeshadow stay longer.

Nyx Glitter Glue.

I got this tip from Stephanie Nicole. She applies glitter glue just before she puts any shimmer eyeshadow on her lid. Since she has hooded eyes like me, sometimes shimmer shadows can transfer into the crease area and the eye look ends up looking messy. Since I've been doing this trick my shimmer shadow stopped transferring and it pops more now.

L.A Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil.

This replaced my elf $2 eyebrow pencil it's like having an ABH brow pencil but for $5 bucks.

L.A Girl Flat Velvet Matte Lipstick in Snuggle.

lately, I've been loving nude lipsticks, but the ones that look like my lips but better (hope you understand). This lipstick gives the perfect color to my lips, plus is creamy and it doesn't dry my lips.

Clean Sweep Makeup Brush Pad.

I bought this at Tj Maxx, I use it to clean my eye brushes in between shadows. This is perfect if you have a few eye brushes. It allows you to take off the residue of the previous eyeshadow without leaving the brush wet.

Favorites of the past months.

Hello, the past months because it was so hot here in Houston, I did not wear a lot of makeup, and I was basically going to work. I bring to you my most recent favorites.

SKINCARE

Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water.

I finished my eye makeup remover, and I was at Ulta and I decided to pick this one up, it is pretty inexpensive. What I like is that it is gentle on my eyes, it does remove waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I wash my face after I remove my makeup with the micellar water.

MAKEUP

Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer.

This concealer is so light weight, it does not cling onto pores or fine lines. For summer this was my go to concealer, it was not cakey or heavy on my skin. It has light to medium coverage.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder.

I've heard nothing but great things about this powder, so after I finished some I already had I decide to pick this one up, I am already a fan of the Fit Me concealer and foundation, so why not try the powder? I am a huge fan of the MAC studio fix powder foundation, I do not use any type of foundation during the week so I want my powder to give me some extra coverage. This one gives me some coverage, it keeps me matte without looking dull.

The Body Shop Honey Bronze  Bronzing Powder.

I bought this because I am a big fan of the Body Shop plus, the packaging is cute and it was on sale. This is a bronzing powder, not contorting powder so do not expect this to be good for contour. It has a subtle orange tint to it, It gives the face the appearance of sun-kissed, you know when you are out in the sun and get a light tan and your skin has that toasty tint to it, well this makes my face like that, I got it in the shade 3 they have 4 shades. It has a soft texture that blends well into the skin.

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Lolita.

This is a cult favorite, I remember going to Sephora several times and was unlucky to find it, it was always out of stock! I got a sample size in one of those Sephora favorites lip kits. Well, it was not until recently that I fell in love with it, it such a pretty color, the formula is amazing, is light weight, it does not dry the lips, and it lasts for a long time, definitely going to try more!

Melissa Michelle X Ulta Beauty Palette.

Girl if you do not have this palette go get you one! This palette is a steal for the price and all the products it has to offer, the shadows are soft pigmented and they blend well, the blush is amazing for everyday use, the highlighters are stunning for many people, the liquid lipstick is AMAZING! The first time I used this palette I was in love!

ELF Highlighting Brush.

I found this little brush at my local ULTA and because I'm a brush hoarder I bought it! Well best decision ever! This soft brush is not only good for the highlighter but also sets my under eye concealer so good! Is so soft and the shape is perfect to apply powder on the under eye!

Bath & Body Works Winter Candy Apple.

Is it too early to love this fragrance? Hahha, I've been using it none stop for a long time now, and I love it! is an apple-fresh scent. Well, honestly I am the worst at describing scents for the record.

BOOK

Houston We Have a Problema.
-Gwendolyn Zepeda.

I have a cousin that loves to read, and often gives me books for Christmas, my birthday or any special occasion, well he always gives me the most accurates books and I always end up loving them! I got this one for last Christmas, but I did not start reading it until July, well I LOVED IT! I am Mexican and the main character is too! Is a really good book, it has some fun parts, and it makes you evolve with the characters. If you have a chance and like novels definitely read this one.
