Favorites of March and April.
Soo long time no read, haha. Well as always my excuse is college happened blah blah blah, so yeah college. I have decided to do my favorites every two months because I normally use the same things over and over again.I have quite a bit of favorite this time, so let's get started, shall we?
*Skincare*
Neutrogena Clear Face Break-Out Free Liquid-lotion Sunscreen SPF 55
If you did not know you have to use sunscreen daily! I'll break it here for you, your skin is really delicate and a sunscreen protects your skin from the abrasive UV rays. Not only that but prevents your beautiful skin from getting skin cancer! So do your research and find you some good sunscreen, make sure it has one of this ingredients: Titanium dioxide, Octyl methoxycinnamate, avobenzone, zinc oxide. Those are the active ingredients that will make the sunscreen work. HOW DO I APPY IT? Well, I put a some on the back of my hand and I mix it with my face moisturizer, I apply it to my face, neck, hands and arms. I wait 15 minutes before exposure to the sun. Even when is cloudy outside I will use sunscreen, I really like this one because it does not have a fragrance, it does not make my face white, is not greasy or slippery. I highly recommend you trying this one out.

Silk Elements Jojoba Pure Oil
So I finished my regular eye makeup remover, I use waterproof mascara and water and soap are not enough to do the job, I decided to use this oil as my new makeup remover, well I love it, jojoba oil is similar to the natural oil that our face produces, I have been using it to remove all my makeup, I put about 6 drops in my hand and try to warm it and then rub it in my entire face, I wash my face with warm water and soap. I also use it as a moisturizer when my face is feeling dry and patchy. I know many of you are thinking if we put oils in our face isn't going to make it more oily? Well the answer is NO! trust me.

Smith's Rosebud Salve
This is a more recent favorite, since last Monday, I have been sick, so my runny nose got all red and dry, and here comes the life saver, I apply a generous amount all around my nose and lips, so overnight it does its magic. It also helps with burns, chapped lips, and detergent burns. Go get you some!

Nuance Salma Hayek Healthy Shine Nourishing Oil
First of all, don't ask me how it broke, I got home one day and it was like that haha. When my aunt came to visit from Cali, she told me about how wonderful this oil was, when she left she gave it to me so I can try it! Well, she wasn't wrong, my hair looks more healthy and shiny. Plus come on gotta support Salma right? she's a Hollywood Mexican actress. Anyway, if you are in the hunt for a new hair oil give this one try.

Beauty Secrets Nourishing Acetone
I do my nails at home, I love painting my nails, I change my nail color every week so I use acetone pretty often, I had one that dried out my cuticles really bad, my nails looked so bad :( I went to Sally's and asked the lady if they had any cuticle oil, and she also recommended this acetone, well it really has helped with my cuticles. It has a nice fragrance and leaves the cuticles really nourish.

Bath & Body Works Pink Chiffon Fragrance Mist.
This body mist reminds me so much of my best friend Abner, when I was in High School I used this and other perfume, and every time I wore this one he told me I smell like a chocolate, haha. Well since my other favorite body mist is discontinued I had to start using the old one, I think I have finished like 4 bottles of this one over the past years.I have, to be honest, I rarely buy the perfumes and by that, I mean new fragrances, why? because some of them give me a headache even nausea.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer.
I rediscovered this concealer, it was my favorite ago, but with all the new concealers I stop using it, one day I was like let me use this one and boom! felt in love again! It has the perfect coverage, the perfect yellow tone, it's magical. I have been using it every day since the beginning of April. I totally recommend this one. I have mine in the neutralizer shade.

Can you believe e I got this blush for $8? Yeah, I got it during 21 days of beauty at Ulta, and with my points, I just paid $8. Since I got it I put my PAPA DON'T PEACH blush to rest haha. This is perfect everyday blush is so stunning!

MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH IN SOFT $ GENTLE
This highlighter was one of my first ones, I remember the day after I bought it I wore it and so on for like a week, it was Christmas season and with all the parties and stuff I was always glowing lol. If you ever come to me and ask me, hey what highlighter would you recommend to me? without thinking I am going to say MAC'S Soft & Gentle, why? because it has a beautiful finish, it looks like your face is juicy from the inside, it give a radiant effect, is not like a bunch of glitter on your face, don't get me wrong I love my glitter too! If you do not have it, you should totally get it!

MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH NATURAL IN GIVE ME SUN
Okay, so contouring is the hit right now, right? well, my light skin needed some sun touched action, so I grabbed my MAC'S Give Me Sun powder and give my face a little color. I use this powder as a bronzer, do not get confused, bronzing and contouring are two different things. I grabbed a big loose powder brush and do a 3 motion along my hair line my cheekbone and my jawline. It gives my skin that bronzy, tan look, but you gotta be careful and work it little by little or you will end up looking like an umpa lumpa.

TOO FACED SWEET PEACH PALETTE.
Only my sister and my cousin knew the struggle it was for me to get my hands on this little palette, we went and asked to idk how many Ulta's, Sephora's and Macy's, I called almost every day,I spammed Too Faced IG, I twitted them, I was crazy to get my hands on this palettes. The day Jerrod (Too Faced Creator) posted a video on IG saying the peach palette was going to be back with more items added to the line, girl I was crying literally. I had to wait 6 months for it, and the day it went live I stayed awake for 3 or 4 hours, waiting for Too Faced website until it was my turn to check out, then I waited like 3 weeks for it to get to my house. It got to me the 10th of December 2016 I remember cause that day it was my cousin's wedding, I jumped of happiness, but I had to wrapped it and put it under the Christmas tree until Christmas morning so I could open it. Yeah, cool story right? Anyway, why is it my favorite? first of all, it smells like peaches, and peaches are one of my favorites fruits. Girl the colors are so pretty, no joke anytime I used it people ask me what I am wearing, I had some important events to go during the two months and I used that palette almost every time I had to wear makeup. JUVIA'S PLACE THE MASQUERADE PALETTE.
Like I told you on my perfect palette tag, I barely use this palette, so this month I been using it more, and I gotta say I like it!Lately, I have been doing more out of my comfort zone eye makeup and I enjoy it. These colors are beautiful and stunning and buttery and pigment and perfect. If you are a more adventurous person I will truly suggest for you to check out this palette.

If you follow me on IG, you should know I bought this book back in January I think and until this day I haven't finished it why? because I am a such and slow reader, but since #GIRLBOSS is now on Netflix I have to finish the book first before I watch the show. I am challenging to read at least one book per month we will see how that goes. Why is #GIRLBOSS on my favorites? Well because every time I read this book it makes me feel like a badass, it has a lot of inspirational quotes. Sophia is such an empowering woman, who started from the bottom selling on eBay and now she own a $250-million-plus fashion retailer. She takes you on her journey, and how difficult it was. Is such a good book, give it a try.

Blue Sky 2017 Weekly/Monthly Planner.
So I decided I needed a planner. I went to Walmart and picked up this little minimalistic looking planner. I love it because it fits in my purse and my school bag. I had many doctors appointments, important events and birthdays, plus all the school assignments and test I had to keep a track of them. I always prefer to write stuff that has to be done, rather than having it on my phone's calendar. So this planner had helped me have a control of what I am doing and when it has to be done, so if I have a due date for an essay I'll write it down if I have doctors appoint, or even if I have a date I'll write it down ha. Planners are pretty awesome.
