My Eyeshadow Palettes// Best + Wost; A Tag

Hello, welcome back!

I know it has been a while since I have written. Life happens, am I right?

Today I wanted to talk makeup, I miss it. Remember when tags used to be so popular on Youtube? A few months back I saw some of my favorite beauty gurus talk about their eyeshadow palettes, and how some rediscovered old eyeshadow palettes. I wanted to make this tag to rediscover my fave eyeshadows palettes. My purpose on making this tag is not for you to run and buy all the palettes I am going to mention but to rediscover your makeup collection and see if you find some old favorites, feel free to answer the questions and leave them on the comments if not tag me on IG!

Without further ado let's begin!

1. Newest palette?

Celestial Thunder by Dominique Cosmetics

I bought this palette from my soon to be sister in law, she used to get Boxycharm every month, so she ended up with a lot of unused makeup. This is the Boxycharm edition so it doesn't have the same colors as the original one, but let me tell you the eyeshadow quality is actually pretty good. Got it for $10 a steal, right?

2. Oldest palette?

NAKED palette by Urban Decay

This was my first big palette purchase, I saved some money and my little sister helped me pay for it too. To this day is my favorite neutral palette, because is the palette that I learn to do my makeup with.

3. Most expensive palette?

Pro Palettes by Lorac

I feel like I have every single Lorac Pro Palette to this day, I know I am crazy. But I am not crazy enough to spend more than $65 on a makeup palette.

4. Most affordable palette?

Comfort Zone by Wet n Wild

Feel like this little palette is in some way or another in almost everybody's tag. It is one of the very first drugstores makeup palettes with good quality and affordable price.

5. Everyday palette?

The Emily Edit "The Needs" by Makeup Revolution

One of the biggest reasons why this is my everyday palette is because it has everything I need to do an everyday makeup look, it is a face/eye palette all in one! If I ever need to do my makeup on the run, this palette is perfect!

6. Most colorful palette?

Take Me to Brazil by BH Cosmetics

I have other palettes that have lots of colorful eyeshadows, but this one is mainly COLORFUL eyeshadows just a few "neutral" colors. I feel like this is a good starter for people that want to experiment more with colors because it has a wide variety and the price tag is affordable.

7. Smallest palette?

Naked Basics by Urban Decay

This is so little it fits in my hand, and let me tell you my hand is little! I feel like this is my go-to palette when it comes to traveling because it takes no space in my makeup bag.

8. Biggest palette?

88 Original Palette by Coastal Scents

Oh good old days when every youtube praised Coastal Scents palettes, no drama back then. I still remember my first Coastal Scents order, I recently moved to the USA, and after getting a job, a saved up some money and ordered this and some other palettes and brushes.

9. Best memory?

Chocolate Bar by Too Faced

This was my second high-end palette. My cousin Haydee and my cousin Juan gave it to me on my first Christmas when I moved here. I was just so excited to have the palette and I would use it almost every time I did my makeup. I love it!

10. A palette that is worth the hype?

Modern Renaissance by Anastacia Beverly Hills

Palette worth, EVERY PENNY! I did not know how much red-oranges eyeshadows complements my eye color until I got this palette, also every time I use this palette I get the best compliments. Anastacia has one of the best eyeshadows formula.

11. A palette not worth the hype?

Any Jeffree Star Cosmetics

#sorrynotsorry.

12. Favorite palette from a favorite brand?

Reina del Caribe Vol 1 by Alamar Cosmetics

Latina's own brand check! Also the names, the quality everything! I love all the looks I have done with this palette!

13. Most used palette?

Bissu palette

This palette is so used, it doesn't have a name anymore. My dad actually bought this for me, a long time ago when I was starting to do my makeup. I've hit pan on 2 eyeshadows, the same ones I use to do my eyebrows every day. The lasting power is amazing, and they are the perfect color match for me.

14. Most underrated palette?

Get Ready With Me by Collab

This is a palette I rarely use but it surprises me every time I use it, the quality and looks I can create are amazing! If you want a palette that doesn't require you to think too much, this is a good option.

15. A favorite palette that was limited edition?

Master Palette by Mario by Anastasia Beverly Hills

This palette makes me fall in love with neutral looks. The names, the colors, the payoff, the texture of the eyeshadows, everything about this palette is perfect!

16. Best dupe palette?

Truenaked Peach Punch by Covergirl

This a good alternative if you want to get not the same eyeshadows but look as with the Sweet Peach palette by Too Faced, both smell like peaches and have those peachy pop eyeshadow.

And that concludes the blog post, I am sorry I missed pictures for some palettes, but I am still kinda moving so I honestly do not know where I placed my other palettes haha.

Please share with me your answers to the question in the comments!

Take care ;)
