COVID-19 & Dealing with staying at home.

As most of us know, COVID-19 has the world right now under panic. In a society of fear and greed mixed with an easy contagious virus ain't no good combo. Most cities around the world are inducing social distancing encouraging their population to stay at home, school is canceled, many are working from home, and big crowed places or events are closed or canceled. This creates a big fear among people. School and work can be an escape from emotionally unstable people. Like me. The idea of not being able to go to school for another week frights me. Being at home makes me worry and makes me overthink.
So I kinda planned out my week so it would be easier to get through.

Let me give you some helpful definitions:

- Isolation = you have tested positive for the virus.

- Quarantine = you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus and are waiting to see if you develop symptoms.

- Social distancing = something everyone can do to reduce the risk of transmission.

But first...

WHAT THE HELL IS COVID-19?

If you've been living under a rock, the experts can help you out:
I ain't no scientist so check these websites for the love of God.
C.D.C

W.H.O

As for now, those two are the most reliable sources, do not believe everything you see on the internet. YOU KNOW BETTER!

WASH YOUR HANDS REGULARLY FOR AT LEAST 20 SECONDS.

AVOID CROWED PLACES.

COUGH & SNEEZE ON YOUR ELBOW.

AVOID SICK PEOPLE.

STOP PANIC BUYING.

Now let's get started with the stuff you can do now that we are stuck home, for most of the day.

PAINT WITH A TWIST (at home)

If you are panic buying, might as well get some wine and do some painting while sipping on some wine. Get some painting supplies at the dollar store and whenever you want, look up tutorial online and go at it, paint whatever you feel like it. Painting relaxes me. Let your mind go crazy.

READ A NEW BOOK

As the bookworm I am, I get excited about starting a new book because I will have more time to really get into it without interruptions.

PLAN A STAY AT HOME MOVIE NIGHT

Is 2020 most of us have streaming services. Get some snacks from the quarantine stash, find a good movie, get comfy and relax.
In this category can fall binge-watch your favorite show. The Office, here I come.

SPRING CLEAN

Baby, let those shirts from years go. It is time for a new start, organize your shit. Declutter, get rid of those things that do not spark joy anymore, as Marie Kondo says. You will have plenty of time.

WORK ON THAT HOBBIE YOU ABANDONED

That hobby that made you happy, work on it, you will have a lot of time. Get your supplies ready! and let get on it, baby!

In other words, do not let this extra time mess with your head, there is plenty of things we can do to ease our minds.
Other stuff to consider doing:

*Go for a walk.

*Skype with your friends.

*Learn a new language.

* Write letters.

*Do meditation.

*Create a playlist.

*Experiment with new stuff.

* Cook a new recipe.

*Make a garden.

*Water your plants.

Anyway, I hope everyone stays safe during this hard time, and for the sake of God, stop panic buying, some people really need to buy groceries and by the time they can go there is nothing left. Be mindful and helpful to others, at this time I send love to everybody.

Love & virtual hugs.
