Favorites of the past months
Hello! I know is almost August and I am just posting my May and June favorites, you know the drill, I do not rotate or try new products often so my favorites will be from the past two months.
On a daily basis, I use a little bit of makeup, concealer, powder, blush, bronzer, and mascara. Well and a little of eyebrow products.
So let's get started.
*Skincare*
Let's start with face products.
Nivea Men Post Shave Balm.
Okay, before you laugh, if you watch youtube videos you know Nikki Tutorial made this one viral because she claimed it was a good primer. I do not use it just for that purpose but it does help with the staying power of my makeup.
My face is really sensitive so in summer time it gets really red because of the heat, and because the balm helps to calm irritated face it has really help me with my red face haha! Be aware that this is supposed to be used by men so it has a men cologne scent, but after minutes the smell goes away.
NYX Angel Veil Primer
I think this primer is supposed to be a dupe of the Hourglass Veil Primer, I haven't tried that one I just felt the texture at Sephora, the Hourglass one is thicker and leaves the skin with a more velvety finish.
I love the NYX one because It doesn't feel heavy on the skin but it helps to keep my makeup in place, in the summer months I tend to use more light weight products so my face doesn't feel like is going to melt.
ORIGINS High-Potency Night-A-Mins.
I have used many little samples of this cream and it never fails me, even on the warm weather when my face tends to be more oily, this face cream is never too heavy for me. I used it as a night cream because when you go to sleep is when your face needs more moisture to prevent any wrinkles. I love it.
Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm.
I had to wrinkles on my under eyes from smiling, so I noticed that when I started using this eye cream the line started fading and now they are almost gone! It's awesome!
Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea.
You know those aisles that Ulta and Sephora have when you are ready to check out where they have travel size stuff they are dangerous because they make you buy stuff you do not need. Well I saw this little guy I thought this could help to refresh my face thought out the day, it is really refreshing and it smells really good.
UD Meltdown Makeup Remover.
I have been using this one to remove my makeup, I spray it onto a cotton round and then remove my eye makeup. It really melts down waterproof mascara like a boss.
*MAKEUP*
Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.
Is no surprise I have been loving this palette. If you want to know more about it I have already a blog post.
Anastasia Beverly Hills & Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit.
This palette is a steal, what I love about this palette is the variety of colors that can work on many skin tones. I use Forever Lit & Kitty Kat and it looks so amazing, they do not emphasize my texture and they do not look patchy.
ELF Total Face Palette.
This has been my go-to palette from the past months because, is practical, has everything I need and the colors are really pretty. They are not that pigmented they give a more natural look, I like it because I normally do my makeup in a hurry so if I use something that is too pigmented I can easily ruin my makeup, this is foolproof, if you are scared of blushes or bronzer and you have light to medium skin tone try this palette is $6 at target, it gives you the liberty to build color without looking like a clown.
Benefit Erase Paste No.2
This concealer has a peachy tone that is supposed correct dark circles, and it does, it brightens the under-eye area, I have some dark circles because I stay up late watching Netflix haha.
Maybelline the Rocket Mascara.
My all time favorite mascara, it gives my lashes volume and length, and it survives to this sweaty weather.
*Tools*
Royal & Langnickel Multi-Purpose Powder Brush.
I love this little blush for, bronzer, powder, blush, is really soft and it applies product really good.
Sigma Large Shader- E60
I use this brush to set my eye primer and to put eyeshadow all over my eye lid. I love it.
Face Secrets Eye Shadow Blender Brush.
If you are trying to find a dupe for the Sigma E40 this one is a pretty good one.
Flower Beauty Sponge.
God! this is a dupe for the famous Beauty Blender, is so soft and it blends my foundation so good.
Bye! Hope this post helps in anyway :) have a great weekend.
